I had the opportunity to help plan and execute this wonderful women’s event at my home church, Blackhawk Ministries. I would encourage you to plug-in to you church, in a small group or specific ministry to help spur you on in your walk with Jesus. I would also challenge you to find a way to serve within your church – we are a body of many parts and we all have gifts and talents that can be used to serve one another! If you don’t have a “home church”, I would love to have you visit Blackhawk!

Indeed, it was a sweet time of fellowship, worship, dessert and blessing a few of Blackhawk’s missionaries, Alice and Alair!

Thank you to all who attended, we hope you left feeling encouraged and filled! You ladies went above and beyond with the “blessing needs” that the missionaries had requested! God will take your gift and multiply it! Blackhawk women, stay tuned, we have several 2023 events being planned just for you! The evening started with desserts, coffee, and fellowship.

Then we sang a few beautiful hymns led by Jan Smith and Shelia McFarland on the piano. Sue Stump also sang a song. God has blessed us with some very talented and faithful servants! Thank you ladies for sharing your gifts!

We were excited to hear from Alice and Alair(Andria and Joy were unable to attend this event)… they both shared a little about themselves and what God is doing in their life.

Big thanks to you ladies, you showered them and showed them God’s love by blessing them with simple gift necessities from their wish list. Their gift bags were overflowing, you went above and beyond!

What a special time together… to gather as one body, in prayer, to pray specifically for Alice, Alair, Andria and Joy.

Our words can be such an encouragement to someone else… the women of Blackhawk poured into these notes of scripture, prayer and words of encouragement to give to the four missionaries, and we hope they are reminded often that we are praying for them back here in Fort Wayne!

These are the ladies who planned and prayed over this event. This is the Blackhawk Women’s Ministry team(missed you Whitley). What a blessing it is to serve Him alongside them!
