Blackhawk Ministries | Blackhawk Kids | February 18, 2024

I love serving at my church! Along with photographing many events held at Blackhawk, I also serve on the Blackhawk Kids team! Joel and I lead a toddler classroom and my favorite part of serving in that classroom is being a part of these kids’ lives and hopefully being a part of their faith-journey. What a blessing they are to us, and we love pouring into them! We hope they all choose to follow Jesus all their days!

I cannot say enough good things about the leadership over this ministry! Leah and her team are such a blessing to the families who attend and also to the volunteers who serve! As a momma and also a volunteer, I have perspective from each angle and Leah has been gifted by God to lead this ministry so well! Everything she does is thought-through and well planned. She truly cares for every child who comes through the doors and wants them to know and love Jesus with all their heart – that is evident, and I am so grateful for her! She has a great team of support with Sophia and the other classroom leads! Not only do they care for the kiddos (their hearts, physical safety and security) and families, but they ensure that the team of volunteers know how much they are appreciated and have all the resources needed to care for these kiddos each week! Be sure to THANK Leah and her team this week… and also the volunteers who pour into your kiddos each week! Also, thank the other volunteers around the church this Sunday!
