{BLACKHAWK MINISTRIES} Blackhawk Kids | Child Dedication

What an honor it was to photograph these families and parents who are choosing to raise their children in a Christ-centered home. Today, at Blackhawk Ministries, we took time at the beginning of the service to hear from parents wanting to dedicate their children to the Lord (This does not secure the child’s future of heaven, because each person/child has to make that decision for themselves. This is just a public declaration of the parents raising their children to know and love Jesus. Parents did attend a class to learn about what it means to “dedicate” their child/children.). During this time, we got introduced to the family, Pastor Dave prayed over these families and the families made known that they are raising their children to know and love God. In response, we as a congregation come alongside them on this journey and commit to pray for them. Our greatest desire as parents, is that our children grow up loving Jesus and ultimately accept Him as their Lord and savior. 3 John 1:4

After the dedication, Leah and her team, from Blackhawk Kids had a little reception for parents to fellowship and enjoy cake together. It was a sweet morning!
