{FORT WAYNE CHILDREN’S ZOO} Corks for Conservation | July 29, 2021

I had the pleasure of photographing another wonderful fundraiser for our amazing zoo! Corks for Conservation is an annual fundraiser and gets better and better each year! Guests get to enjoy food, festivities and an auction…. all to support the animals of the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and also supporting conservation efforts(which was the case for this particular event). I hope you will consider either making a donation or plan to attend their next event(typically 3 fundraising events each year)… not only will it be an amazing night out with a group of friends or a special date night but it will be for a good cause!

Not only do you get to float in a canoe on the Crocodile Creek Adventure Ride but you get some sneaks “behind the scenes” of Stingray Bay… these rays were pretty happy to get fed as you can see by their playful splashing!

Let the auction begin and bring on the donations!

I finally had the chance to meet the new director of the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, Rick Schuiteman and his lovely wife Kristin. I know he will continue to do great things for the animals here at our zoo, for conservation and for the education of the next generation of animal-advocates —-> WELCOME Schuiteman family!
