I met Emily and her sister Samantha at the 2013 Bridal Extravaganza held at the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne. I am always flattered when I get compliments on my work and how my images look different than all the other local photographers, but this time was even more special! These girls are also photographers! They are the photographers of Dixie Lane Studios! Be sure to check them out if you live in Albion, Indiana!
As you can imagine, I was so honored that Emily choose me to photograph and capture her special day!
On the day of the wedding, once I got to meet her prince – Heath, it was evident their love for each other is strong! I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I do!
This pretty, lil blonde looked amazing her wedding gown. While getting ready, with family and friends, she was all smiles in anticipation of joining her heart and life with Heath.
These kiddos were adorable and their sign was super cute!
Emily’s mother walked her down the aisle – everyone was breathless and touched.
The ceremony was beautiful!
I have photographed many weddings and therefore many Wedding Parties! I would have to say this is one of the most fun and relaxed wedding party I have photographed! Not only did they have a good time, the photographs turned out amazing because they were an awesome group! We were also at a beautiful location – big thanks to Saloman Farms for letting us stop by for some photographs!
Emily and Heath are not only a beautiful couple, but they were naturals in front of the camera!
They never hesitated to do a “kiss photo” 🙂
I put a twist on a few of the photographs during post-production – this couple needed a few photographs with a “rustic and vintage” feel.
This may be my favorite photograph of Emily and Heath!
I also love a few classic black and white photographs.
Their reception location was gorgeous and decorated with so many little details! As you can see, this wedding was a little country(notice that Emily and her bridesmaids were wearing cute cowboy boots) – the reception was decorated rustic and the cake was just a perfect fit for Emily and Heath!
BTW, during the toast at the reception, Emily’s sister Samantha made the sweetest and best toast I have ever heard at any wedding I have been too! These sisters have a strong bond that is just so sweet to witness!
Emily and Heath played it cool during the cake exchange and didn’t do much cake smashing.
First Dance
